the canyon that outlines the fire territory is called none other than 'blood canyon'. the rock is scarlet, and the dust is very fine with a powdery crimson hue, like blood. the bottom of the canyon is hard to reach, because the walls are steep and dangerous to climb. if you're lucky, you can survive the journey to the bottom with your element helping you. the canyons are a good source of fresh water, but only some gorse actually grows along the inside edges. many a mare also find this to be a romantic place for them to meet a stallion, on the banks of the river running through the base of the canyon.
